.290, .310, & .315 flat vinyl spline (black) for aluminum screen enclosures, pool enclosures, pool cages, lanai, and other aluminum framed screen enclosures

• Usages: Flat spline is used to hold the screen in place on aluminum framed enclosures such as screen rooms, pool enclosures/ cages, lanai, front porches, back porches.
• .290 spline usage: .290 thick spline is a thinner spline used when installing thicker screens such as solar screens, pet screens, florida screen, etc.
• .310 spline usage: .310 thick spline is the most popular used spline. It is easy to install and works with most screens. It is recommended for 18x14 or 20x20 mesh screen installations.
• .315 spline usage: .315 thick spline is the thicker spline. It is a little harder to install, but it holds the screen tighter due to it being thicker. It is also recommended for 18x14 or 20x20 mesh screen installations.
• Strenght: When installed in the proper framing, flat spline will hold the screen in place and not allow the screen to be pushed out. It is superior to round spline because when installed it locks into the framing by sliding behind the lip on the frame.
• Product: Flat spline is very flexable and this makes the installation easy. It is a vinyl product.
• Installation: When installing flat spline, you will need to angle the spline in the groove towards the screen. Then you will need to push it down into spline groove with your finger. After starting the spline use a spline roller to roll the spline into the groove around the frame. You may also want to use flat spline to tack the screen in place as you replace the screen.
